Objectives
1) Identify and describe the major climates of the world.
In this lesson, you will learn about the major climates of the world.

Introduction

Weather refers to the current state of the atmosphere. Climate involves long term averages of temperature and precipitation.

In the previous unit, you learned about the three processes of precipitation (convectional, orographic, and frontal) as well as factors that influence temperature (i.e. O LAMPNAS). Keep these in mind, as you progress through this unit.
