Chernozem soil is found on the prairies. Climate Graph X (B) indicates this with warm summers and cold winters typical of a continental climate as well as the bulk of the precipitation coming in the summer via convection.

Climate Graph W is an equatorial climate which is hot and wet all year. The soil there is latosol.

Climate Graph Y is a mediterranean climate while Climate Graph Z is Tropical Wet and Dry (i.e. the savanna).
